Future of Principles unclear

by isleofman.com 7th March 2009
There's a firm no comment over the future of the Principles store in Duke Street in Douglas.

It's after Sky News sources said most of the company's 91 stores across Britain will be closing.

Manx Radio contacted the clothing shop in Douglas and they referred us to Head Office in London who said they couldn't say anything at the moment.

Debenhams are set to sign a deal to take over the Principles brand but won't be taking on any shops.

The clothing retailer employs 2,500 people.
