by isleofman.com 9th March 2009

There has been a double celebration for financial bookmakers BetsForTraders.com: not only has the 10,000th copy of their ‘Financial Betting for Dummies’ guide been snapped up but since launching the book in November 2008, traffic to the site has increased by 48%. They have also reported a 26% increase in the number of new accounts opened in that time.

Financial Betting for Dummies, written by a well-known financial journalist, is part of the ‘…For Dummies’ educational series. Written in a light-hearted and approachable style, it aims to show that financial betting, far from being complicated, can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of experience of knowledge of financial markets.

The book is available to order, free of charge, from the BetsForTraders.com website, and includes a ?25 voucher with which newcomers to the site can start betting. It constitutes part of BetsForTraders.com’s campaign to prove that financial betting is a simple and low-risk way of making money on the stock markets.
Ryan Kneale, Market Analyst at BetsForTraders.com, comments: “There has never been a more exciting time to get involved in financial betting – with the markets fluctuating wildly at the moment; there are windfall profits to be made. Our clients come from all walks of with many having previously known nothing about the markets or financial trading.”

Launched in 2007, BetsForTraders.com is a fixed-odds financial betting website which offers a range of 10 different types of fixed-risk bets on financial markets, single stocks, stock indices and the foreign exchange markets. Bets are fully customisable and operate through a real-time dealing interface.
