KSF depositors have mixed views

by isleofman.com 10th March 2009
Treasury Minister Allan Bell says it’s unclear what the majority of depositors with Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander want.

This morning in the House of Keys (Tuesday) he was asked questions about the scheme of arrangement set up to avoid having to liquidate the bank.

Mr Bell said all creditors would have a vote on whether or not they wanted the scheme to go ahead, if it is approved at a court hearing next month.

But he said depositors no longer seemed to speak with one unified voice.
