Director of Tourism Geoff Le Page has been elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Mr Le Page, who has previously worked for British Airways, Horizon Holidays and Thomson Holidays, is responsible for strategic direction of the Island's visitor economy, which includes maximising opportunities such as those presented by 'Freedom to Flourish'.
He commented, 'I am honoured to be elected as a Fellow and feel it is rewarding everyone in Tourism marketing who has helped the Isle of Man fight above its weight in recent years. I hope that by becoming a Fellow, I can persuade people of the importance of Marketing in all that we do and encourage more people to become Members of the Institute to further improve the Isle of Man's standing and status in all markets'.
Geoff Le Page (pictured) has belonged to the CIM since 1982, whose membership from the DTL also includes Product Development Executives Kim Kneen and Richard Cuthbert, Communications Officer Rachele Quayle and Marketing Executive Paul Watson.
