Continent 8 Technologies has announced the appointment of Neil Murray as Technical Operations Director (Europe).

Neil (pictured) will be based at the Isle of Man office and have overall technical responsibility for Continent 8 Technologies’ European data centre infrastructure, private telecommunications network and the European data centre expansion.

Neil brings to the role a wealth of technical experience, having worked in the Manx financial services sector for the last fifteen years. Within this highly-regulated industry he managed dedicated data centre facilities and IT infrastructure for two large offshore life assurance organisations across multiple international locations including Hong Kong, Dubai, Cyprus and South Africa.

Neil is a Member of the British Computer Society, the Chartered Managers' Institute and the Institute for Information Security Professionals. He is currently studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Security and Penetration Testing from the University of Glamorgan.
