Creamery to Recruit Consumer Panel

by isleofman.com 2nd April 2009

In a new initiative, Isle of Man Creamery is seeking to recruit a consumer panel on the Island in order to build on the existing relationship between the Creamery and the community.

Recent research has shown that consumers on the Island rate the Creamery’s products highly, but the Creamery is committed to continuous improvement and wish to work with consumers to ensure that they keep producing, distributing and marketing products and services of the highest quality.

Consumer panel members will be asked to comment on the Creamery’s products, services, communication messages, packaging and new product concepts, which will in turn provide information and feedback on buying behaviour and attitudes.

Managing Director Findlay Macleod commented 'Isle of Man Creamery is proud of the quality of its locally produced milk and internationally recognised award-winning cheeses.  This research is an exciting initiative, which will enable feedback to be gathered from a dedicated consumer group, thus continuing the production of the freshest, highest quality dairy products and presenting them to existing and new markets.'

Whilst participants’ time will not be financially rewarded, all panel members will receive free produce from the Creamery as a token of appreciation. Anyone who is genuinely interested in being involved in the consumer panel, and would like to receive an application form, should register their interest by email to research@iomcreameries.com.

Places on the consumer panel are limited and the closing date for applications is Friday 10th April 2009.
