Castletown based software developer PDMS has been reflecting on the success of the International Criminal Justice Conference, sponsored by the company and held at the Villa Marina last week.
Managing director Chris Gledhill says supporting the event was a natural choice for the firm, as a good part of its client work involves supporting law enforcement organisations across the United Kingdom.
Mr Gledhill says the choice of the Island as the venue was testimony to the professional excellence in criminal justice found here, of which PDMS is proud to be a part.
PDMS is the firm behind the Police National Statistical Database, which is used by all police forces in England and Wales.
The company also devised the Police National Legal Database, an online resource which, says Mr Gledhill, has become fundamental to UK policing services.
A third system produced by PDMS is the Police FAQ database, an online information source for people in the community.
