The Manx Treasury has issued a direction under anti-terror laws, ordering a Chinese man's accounts to be frozen.
The man alleged to have links to terror organisations is Abdul Haq, who was born on October 10, 1971 in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, also known as East Turkestan.
He's also known by some twelve different aliases, which can be found on the Manx government's website.
The United Nations gives his last known location, as of this month, to be Pakistan.
Abdul Haq is the overall leader and commander of the Eastern Turkestan Islamic Movement and is involved in fundraising and recruitment for the organisation.
Any organisation with accounts, funds or other economic resources for him should freeze them and report them to the government’s sanctions officer.
