by isleofman.com 5th May 2009

The Junior Achievement Isle of Man Company of the Year 2009 award has been won by a team from Ballakermeen High School.

Element was the successful team in the scheme which teaches commercial and entrepreneurial skills to pupils in the Isle of Man.

There were three teams from Ballakermeen and one from QE II in the final.

Element chose to reinterpret the classic card game Top Trumps and produce Teacher Top Trumps, a set of cards featuring teachers rated in five categories.
