Callows Yard Owner Praises Lloyds TSB

by isleofman.com 27th May 2009

The Callows Yard Development in Castletown, now nearing completion, is the latest in a series of community-orientated commercial projects to enjoy a fruitful partnership with Lloyds TSB Offshore Limited.

Roy Tilleard, owner of Callows Yard, said 'I am pleased with the service provided by Lloyds TSB. Trevor Kirk, Senior Manager of Corporate Banking and Rob Milne, Relationship Director of Offshore Corporate Banking, have provided an excellent service from the beginning.

'Re-financing any kind of project can be extremely difficult.  When looking for a new bank, I wanted one that understood how businesses worked - and both Trevor and Rob demonstrated that they did.

Lloyds TSB has been very easy to deal with from the outset.  Their paperwork is straightforward.  Their support staff are excellent as well - and consolidating our day to day commercial banking with them has been a wise decision.'

At a recent business breakfast, sponsored by Lloyds TSB, at the Callows Yard site, Mr Tilleard announced that building work on the project should be finished by the end of May 2009, with a phased opening scheduled to begin soon after.

Lloyds TSB corporate manager Trevor Kirk commented 'We are delighted Mr Tilleard is pleased with the service we have provided so far. It is particularly satisfying to provide financial support to a project like Callows Yard which will do so much to improve the infrastructure of the Island.

Our ‘relationship banking’ approach appeals to businesses as we understand the daily challenges they face.  Callows Yard will offer a unique facility and something new for local people - an exciting next step in the Island’s regeneration and continuous growth.'
