Derek Lyons of Royal London 360 has received the Glyn Gilbert Award.

Presented by the Isle of Man Insurance and Financial Services Institute, it’s awarded to a member of the institute who has achieved outstanding academic success.

It’s named in memory of Glyn Gilbert, a past president of the Institute.

Mr Lyons completed his advanced diploma in insurance (ACII) qualification last year.

Of the 340 IOM Insurance and Financial Services Institute members, only 52 have so far achieved the Advanced Diploma qualification.
