Good news for Manx companies from Lloyds TSB

A rise in United Kingdom business confidence during April 2009 is good news for companies in the Isle of Man.

That's according to the Lloyds TSB Business Barometer, which shows optimism in the UK economy has hit the higest level since November 2007.

Senior manager of corporate banking for Lloyds TSB Offshore Limited Trevor Kirk says it's significant for Island businesses, given their dependence on trade with the UK.
