The Association of Corporate Service Providers has organised a seminar on the criticality of effective client due diligence (CDD) and how to achieve it.
It will be held on Friday, July 10 and delivered by Stephen Platt of Jersey-based law firm and regulatory training specialists, BakerPlatt/Forward.
Topics will include an explanation of CDD; the drivers for and consequences of inadequate CDD; undertaking business risk assessment and barriers to achieving effective CDD.
The seminar, free to staff of ACSP member firms and associate members, will take place at the Loch Promenade Church, Douglas, with registration from 12.15pm for a prompt 12.45pm start.
