Moore Stephens Isle of Man, providers of accounting, consulting, fiduciary, yachting and aviation services, has announced the appointment of of Michael Rumsey as its new tax assistant.
Michael will be responsible for the administration of personal and company tax returns, playing a vital role in the implementation of offshore tax structures for clients. His expertise will also strengthen the payroll services, audit tax reviews, general planning and advisory services already provided by the firm.
Speaking about his new role, Michael said 'It is an honour to become part of the Moore Stephens Isle of Man team. I’m very much looking forward to bringing my skills in tax services across accounting, banking, trust and company services as well as my knowledge of compliance legislation to the group.'
Michael, who was educated at Ballakermeen High School, has already achieved the Association of Taxation Technicians certificate of competency in personal taxation and is currently studying for its full qualification. He began his career with one of the 'Big 4' accountancy firms, where he gained valuable experience in UK and Isle of Man taxation services.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Beeman has become the company's new Marketing Coordinator.
Charlotte will be responsible to ensure that marketing opportunities are identified and maximised while facilitating conferences, events and PR.
Speaking about her new role, Charlotte said 'I am excited to become part of Moore Stephens Isle of Man’s team and to be able to bring my skills in copy writing, media relations and event coordination to the firm.'
Charlotte was educated at King William’s College on the Island and holds a BA (Hons) in Humanities with Literature from The Open University.
She is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and previously held the role of account assistant at Strive Public Relations Limited.
