Attempted fraud warning from FSC

by isleofman.com 1st July 2009

The Financial Supervision Commission is warning people not to have anything to do with a company called Capital Finance, which claims to be based in Douglas.

The FSC says there is a real company based at the Finch Road address given on the Capital Finance website, but it's nothing to do with the firm.

The Commission says Capital Finance isn't licensed, incorporated or registered in the Isle of Man.

The website claims it's being rebranded as BTF Wealth Management, but the FSC has no record of any such company.

It says the website is most likely to be an attempt at fraud, and is warning people to steer well clear of it.
