by isleofman.com 3rd July 2009

Experts in the clean technology industry have been gathering on the Isle of Man to meet the government.

The Department of Trade and Industry held a meeting between business experts from the Island along with those involved in off-Island clean technologies.

Up for discussion was the government's support for the sector, as well as what benefits such businesses could bring to the Island.

In particular, delegates talked about access to finance and investment, the barriers for companies developing clean technologies and bringing them to market, and the Isle of Man's stance on assisting business in the sector.
