Conister Financial Group PLC have announced a change of name to Manx Financial Group PLC (MFG PLC).

Conister Financial Group PLC (CFG) is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is the holding company of a group of Isle of Man based banking and financial services businesses including Conister Trust Limited, TransSend Holdings Limited and their respective subsidiaries.

The change of name became effective from 27th July.

Shareholders should note that the trading in securities is expected to commence on the next trading day following this announcement and the new TIDM code to be used on the London Stock Exchange will be MFX.

Denham Eke, Chief Executive Officer, commented 'The name change from Conister Financial Group to Manx Financial Group reflects the continued Isle of Man focus of our holding company.'

Denham added 'The change of name will not impact on the customers of either Conister Trust or TransSend. 

'Moreover, this change will serve to re-emphasise our ongoing commitment to Island residents and our expanding commercial activities in the Isle of Man as a whole.'

Manx Financial Group PLC has its headquarters in Douglas, Isle of Man where it currently employs 36 members of staff.
