Newcastle link to be maintained?

It's been revealed other airlines are interested in operating on the Newcastle route, following yesterday's confirmation that Eastern Airways will be withdrawing from the Isle of Man later this month.

Eastern will cease operations to Birmingham and Newcastle from August 24, following a substantial recent fall in numbers using the services.

Director of Isle of Man Airport Ann Reynolds says it's a blow for the Island, but there are other options on both routes:
