Moore Stephens Support Yachting Challenge

Moore Stephens Isle of Man are to be the official sponsors of the 2010 Douglas Bay Yacht Club Regatta, it was announced today (Monday 10th August).

 

Clive Dixon, partner at Moore Stephens Isle of Man, said, “Moore Stephens Isle of Man is only too pleased to once again sponsor the regatta as it is one of the most exciting sports events on the Island. 

 

"In fact, the Moore Stephens yachting operation has great synergy with the local yachting community and we are very pleased to take part.”

 

The regatta has been running since the 1880s and is becoming an increasingly popular event on the Island for yacht owners, crew members and enthusiasts as well as yachts from other Irish Sea ports. 

 

In recent years, it has seen a variety of yachtsmen and women competing across three listed racing classes in an event designed to appeal to the skilled as well as those just competing for fun.

 

Mike McMahon, president of the Douglas Bay Yacht Club said, “The club would like to give sincere thanks to Moore Stephens Isle of Man for its support and sponsorship of this year’s successful event.

 

"We are extremely grateful for its backing and are already looking forward to next year’s event.”

 

Moore Stephens Yachting, registered under Moore Stephens Trust Company Limited provides yacht registry, finance, insurance, accounting and VAT registration services for yacht owners.

 

Moore Stephens Financial Services Limited provides crew payroll and human resources services to yacht crew.
