Barclays Wealth has appointed a new Head of Fund Services for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

Jon Wrigley (pictured) will be based in Guernsey but have responsibility for the day to day control of the Fund Services Administration teams in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man.

The Fund Services business provides fund administration services for a number of bespoke funds that have been structured to meet the needs of internal and third party clients.

"We’re delighted to welcome someone with Jon’s expertise to the Barclays Wealth team.

"His primary responsibility will be day to day oversight of the business to ensure a first class service is provided to our clients.

"He will also be responsible for business development, through building and leveraging relationships within Barclays and externally, and for providing technical leadership in relation to the local fund regulatory environment," said Barclays Wealth country head Sharon Parr.

Mr Wrigley has moved to Barclays Wealth from the UK, having spent two and a half years as Senior Product Development Manager for Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Prior to that, he spent three years with State Street Bank & Trust Company in London.

"I am very happy to be joining an organisation that has reacted so positively to the challenges presented by the current environment," said Mr Wrigley.

"The opportunities for growth within the Fund Services business and for Barclays Wealth as a whole are very exciting and I am really looking forward to being part of that growth story".
