Is Your Company Game for a Challenge?

by isleofman.com 2nd September 2009

The Isle of Man Children's Centre is looking for spirited souls to take up this year's Adventure Team Challenge.

This unique event, which takes place on Saturday 19th September 2009, consists of corporate teams taking part in a day of unique physical and mental challenges.

Running since 2002, the location for the challenge remains a secret until just before the event – only then is it revealed to the teams by the organisers.

The main sponsors for this year's event are Lloyds TSB Offshore Limited.  Senior Manager Trevor Kirk comments, "We are delighted to sponsor this fantastic community event and look forward to raising lots of money for the Isle of Man Children’s Centre.

“Rebecca and her team have devised a very tough challenge for us all this year – but we still need more companies to compete.

“It is always an exciting day designed to test our sense of fun and adventure.  Everyone who participates also knows they are helping support the Island’s children and young people.”

Rebecca McCauley, Business Development Manager at the Isle of Man Children’s Centre adds, "We are very grateful to Lloyds TSB for sponsoring us this year and look forward to putting our teams through some tough challenges!

"It really is a fantastic opportunity for the Island’s business community to enjoy working together in the hope of winning the coveted Adventure Team Challenge Trophy.”

For more information about how to get involved, please contact Mark Eastham, Adventure Events Coordinator at the Isle of Man Children’s Centre, on 676076 or email adventuremann@iomcc.org.im.
