by isleofman.com 7th September 2009

Sure has appointed Gavin Price as Business Development Director for the Isle of Man and Jersey, with responsibility of supporting the company’s enterprise and business customers.

Mr Price has spent eleven years working in sales and marketing across retail, e-commerce and telecommunications, most recently with Sure in Guernsey, where he was recognised as one of the top fifty salespeople across the Cable & Wireless International Business Group.

He holds a BSc in Tourism with Marketing from Bucks New University. He is currently completing a Masters in Business Administration from Lancaster University.

Mr Price commented: “Delivering excellent service to new and existing customers is paramount to our business success.

"One of my key strengths is the ability to develop trusting and long term client partnerships, and I look forward to bringing that strength to my new position.

"We must ensure we listen to, and understand our customers, so we can turn their requirements into deliverable solutions.

"By doing this across our businesses, we can deliver a unique value proposition to customers who also have a footprint in our Jersey and Guernsey locations, something our competitors cannot do.”

Mike Stanton, Country Manager of Sure Isle of Man, said, “I am delighted that we have someone of Gavin’s calibre joining us.

"It is particularly pleasing that he has come from elsewhere within Sure as he understands the business extremely well.

"It means that clients with a presence in the Isle of Man as well as the Channel Islands will be able to have comfort in his complete understanding of their requirements.”
