Finance sector firm is looking for new staff

There hasn't been much good news on the financial front recently but that's set to change as a top Island-based firm will be holding an open evening later this week to recruit new staff.

Barclays Wealth's managing director Greg Ellison says the company has remained profitable and independent throughout the financial crisis and now needs to hire enthusiastic and dedicated people to support its growth plans.

The event will be at the Hilton Hotel in Douglas, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday.

Mr Ellison says his company is looking for people with certain characteristics, but they don't necessarily have to have experience in the finance sector (play audio file):
