Isle of Man-based space tourism company Excalibur Almaz has revealed how much it will be charging for a week in orbit.
It will be offering the trip of a lifetime from 2013, with each passenger paying $35 million.
Test flights are scheduled to start earlier that year, and the company says it will slowly build up the frequency of services it offers, to the point where it can generate annual revenues of $1 billion.
Two passengers at a time will fly with a pilot-cosmonaut in the reusable capsule and expendable habitable service module.
