Promotion for TLC's Gareth

Gareth Hooson-Owen has been promoted to Senior Consultant at Douglas firm TLC Business Solutions Ltd.


Manx born Gareth has worked at TLC as a training consultant for five years. 

 

Prior to this, he served in the British Army with the Household Cavalry Regiment and held various UK management roles in sales and marketing – winning a top National sales and marketing award in 2000.


Returning to the Island in 2002, Gareth continued his sales and marketing career with Charterhouse Group International. 

 

He complimented this with training and development as an instructor and leader, finally leaving the organisation as Group Sales and Marketing Facilitator.


He joined TLC in 2005 as a training consultant and leads programmes in leadership and management amongst other subjects.


Gareth comments, “I’m delighted with my promotion and new role at TLC and relish the new challenges and opportunities it will bring.”


In his spare time, Gareth plays rugby for and is President of Douglas rugby club as well being a qualified youth coach. 

 

He is also a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and an active member of Douglas Rotary Club.
