McDouglas Construction Holding warning

by isleofman.com 21st September 2009

Have you been offered a job with McDouglas Construction Holding Ltd? If so, the Financial Supervision Commission says it may not be such a great career move.

The FSC says John K Nicholas claims to represent the firm and says it's based in St George's Court in Douglas.

In his emails, he offers jobs with the company, asking people to report to the Isle of Man on a specific date.

But the commission says there's no such company based there, and McDouglas Construction Holding isn't registered in the Isle of Man.

The commission says it's likely to be an attempt at fraud with people handing over their personal details, and says people should ignore any such email which arrives out of the blue.
