Collins Stewart Wealth Management was named Best Discretionary Service at this year’s Daily Telegraph Wealth Management Awards.
Their success in the awards has not been without precedent: the company won the inaugural Discretionary award in 2007 and were runners-up in 2008.
The awards, which are designed to recognise quality of service from wealth managers and stockbrokers, also present an opportuniy for the UK’s investment community to be rated by affluent investors and readers of the Daily Telegraph.
Dermot Hamill, head of Collins Stewart Wealth Management in the Isle of Man, said, "We are particularly pleased to win this award because it is decided by the most important group of voters – our clients.
"Our success is a testament to the efforts of all staff at Collins Stewart Wealth Management and the faith our clients place in us.
"The past year has seen enormous strain in markets followed by unprecedented recovery levels that has left clients seeking independent and straightforward professional advice and investment services from a wealth manager they trust will put their interests first.
"When people have been worried about counterparty risk, our scale, operational strength, world-class research and excellent local client relations have reassured existing clients and helped us build new relationships.
"“We believe this award is the result of our continued efforts to deliver excellence in the services we provide to our clients."
