MEDS service move

by isleofman.com 12th October 2009

The Manx Emergency Doctors Service, known as MEDS, has temporarily relocated this evening (Monday).

It’s moving from its base at Nobles Hospital to the Central Community Health Centre in Westmoreland Road in Douglas as part of the measures to combat Swine Flu.

The appointment only out-of-hours GP's service is moving to free up space at the hospital to be used as a dedicated facility for receiving flu patients who may require admission.
