Gerry Ganly of Ultratech Associates Limited is to be the next speaker in ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) Isle of Man's series of events.
Gerry founded Ultratech Associates Limited, an Isle of Man Company, in 1998, building upon his 30 years experience in banking, treasury and compliance areas.
Ultratech Associates Limited offers consultancy, staff development modules and project work in its areas of expertise. It also has an extensive network of contacts that it can draw upon for other matters.
Gerry Ganly was a career banker with the Bank of Ireland Group for 22 years, the majority of which was spent in the International Banking area and more specifically in Group Treasury and Corporate Foreign Exchange area. He was Deputy Head of the Corporate Foreign Desk.
He was voted a 'Dealer of the Year' in 1990 by the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers for his work in bringing currency options to the Irish Corporate market at the time.
Moving to the Isle of Man in 1996, Gerry was introduced to the broad offshore financial services market and in particular to compliance, an area whose expansion in the last decade has led his Gerry's involvement in many key projects.
He delivers staff development modules in the treasury and broader financial sector in several locations and is a regular lecturer in compliance related matters at the Isle of Man College.
He is also available to hold appropriate Non-Executive Directorships, where his questioning character will be of considerable value.
Gerry has a Master's Degree in Investment and Treasury (Dublin City University), and is a Member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, and the Compliance Institute.
The presentation, titled Money Matters, will take place on Tuesday 17th November at the Hilton Hotel; attendees should gather at 6pm for a 6.15pm start in the Shearwater Suite.
