Hartside vs Heineken

by isleofman.com 3rd November 2009

A Manx-registered company is taking brewing giant Heineken Ireland to court, claiming the company breached a joint venture agreement.

Hartside claims it’s lost €10 million so far after it and Heineken Ireland bought a company called Nash Beverages in the Irish Republic.

Its lawsuit claims Heineken looked after its own interests ahead of Nash Beverages – depressing the value of Hartside’s stake.

Heineken says it will ‘vigourously defend’ the action.
