Chief Minister Tony Brown MHK will address the Island's VAT crisis next week at a special meeting of the Isle of Man Junior Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting, which takes place on 11th November at the Hilton Hotel, will provide an opportunity to explore the consequences of the UK Chancellor's decision to revise its revenue sharing agreement with the Island.
The Chief Minister has confirmed that he will be answering questions from the floor, in what is likely to be a thought-provoking discussion.
Richard Davies, Chairman of the executive council of the JCC, said that the Chief Minister would be sharing his insights into the economic impact on the Island, and what it will mean for residents and businesses.
He said: 'The VAT issue is hugely relevant to every individual living on the Island and every business that has any kind of relationship with the Isle of Man.
'There are many subjects around the VAT situation that people will wish to know how it will affect them, their businesses and the future of the Isle of Man. Mr Brown will be happy to answer as many questions as possible.'
The event takes place in the Shearwater Suite and starts at 6pm. The cost is ?10 for JCC members and ?12 for non-members (prices includes drinks and a buffet). Contact rich.davies(a)RBSCoutts.com to reserve your place.
