Offshore recruiter Alf Cannan (pictured) has announced his return to the Island with his latest venture McKenzie Fox, which he runs together with his business partner and wife Bella Whitbread.

The business currently operates in the City of London recruiting for a wide range of companies, although there is a strong emphasis on business within the Financial Markets.

Educated at King Williams College and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Alf has over eleven years' recruitment experience and established local recruitment agency Paragon in 2000 before moving to London in 2007.

He has spent the last two years recruiting interim executives for change and restructuring projects and joined forces with McKenzie Fox in the spring of 2009.  He is a Fellow of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.

Alf says, "I am delighted to be back in the Island and to bring a very different business to the local recruitment market.  We believe our experience and expertise will offer employers the levels of service and knowledge they require from their recruitment partner in order to attract the best candidates.

"Our business is built on the principles of customer service, integrity and value for money and we undertake to deliver our services to fit the client’s timescales and budget.

"The establishment of our Isle of Man office fits well with the international requirements of our existing clients while offering Island-based companies a highly focused and professional approach to meeting their resourcing requirements."

McKenzie Fox offers both permanent and temporary recruitment solutions.  Its Isle of Man office is located at 8 Mount Pleasant, Douglas.
