Tribute to Dru from professional colleague

Colleagues and friends of Dru Hamm who lost her life in a road accident this week, are paying tribute to 'a remarkable woman', who overcame her disability to live life to the full.

Thirty-eight-year-old Drusilla Hamm died while crossing the Old Castletown Road at Santon on Wednesday, on her way to work.

She was a member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants, and was well known among the profession in the island, regularly attending meetings.

Dru was born with cerebral palsy and her determination won public admiration earlier this year, when she reached Santon in the Parish Walk.

A former chairman of the ACCA in the Isle of Man Dave Wilson says that was a remarkable feat:
