A forthcoming breakfast briefing organised by the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce will explore the theme of the 'International Landscape, Taxation and the Isle of Man' with the help of with two of the "most qualified and capable presenters available".
Malcolm Couch, Assessor of Income Tax, will give updates on the OECD and G20 work on international tax co-operation and the Isle of Man’s strategic positioning in the light of recent events.
Miles Dean from Milestone International Tax Consultants will give a brief introduction to DTAs (Double Taxation Agreements) and their importance; a summary of recent DTAs; and case studies demonstrating how these may be used in practice.
This event, which will undoubtedly attract considerable interest, is open to Chamber members from all sectors.
The Breakfast Briefing will take place in Bar George from 7.45am to 9.15am. Attendance costs ?6 and includes a sandwich breakfast.
