The appointment of Carlton Freegard to the role of MLRO, Compliance and Risk Manager, will see Irish Nationwide (IOM) add a dedicated professional with a unique portfolio of experience to its senior management structure.

In a career that has seen him manage and develop a leading private bank and its associated treasury operations in Guernsey, London and the Isle of Man, Carlton's extensive familiarity with the international banking industry and associated wholesale interbank market's will doubtless prove invaluable to the ongoing development of Irish Nationwide (IOM).

David Fulton, the company’s new Managing Director, expressed his delight at the recent appointment, commenting, "Carlton’s addition to the company adds a new and very important dimension to the management team at Irish Nationwide.

"He is well known and well respected in the Isle of Man business community and his experience and skills will prove a valuable asset in the new climate of transparency, risk management and compliance.  As an added bonus, he’s a nice guy too!"
