New Website will Boost Institute Profile

by isleofman.com 11th November 2009

The Isle of Man Insurance and Financial Services Institute has recently launched their new look website.

Sue Gee, President of the Isle of Man Insurance and Financial Services Institute, said, "This new website was a key objective for the Institute to achieve this year.

"It will provide our members with clear and concise information about upcoming events, local institute news as well as putting faces to names.  Most importantly, it will allow for greater feedback and involvement from our membership."

The new website comes off the back of a Chartered Insurance Institute initiative which provides local Institutes with the online infrastructure to develop their own websites.

That infrastructure and the opportunity to tailor to the individual needs of each Institute, ensuring that the information is local and relevant, was key to the decision to replace the existing website.

Sue concluded, "We are very proud as to date we are the first Institute in our region to have gone live on the new platform."

The website serves as an information portal where members of the Isle of Man Insurance and Financial Services Institute can obtain information pertaining to:

• Upcoming CPD, social and fundraising events;
• Training venues and links into the main website for areas such as qualifications;
• Pictures and news from local events.
