Great Leap Forward for Edgewater Associates

by isleofman.com 20th November 2009

Edgewater Associates, Independent Financial Advisers, has launched a dedicated general insurance department for corporate and personal clients on the Island.

A major step forward for the business, it will be the first time in Edgewater’s 12-year history that it has offered clients a comprehensive range of household, motor and commercial insurance products.

The new division is spearheaded by Emma Cain (pictured), who brings to the Edgewater Team valuable industry experience.

Edgewater Associates Managing Director Steve Locking says, "In addition to our wide range of existing services, we will now also be providing a dedicated general insurance service for clients.

"We are delighted that Emma has joined the Edgewater Team to specifically take on this role.  To be able to offer clients a one-stop shop for all their insurance requirements is a huge plus".

Emma adds, "A lot of people simply renew their insurance annually without checking that they still have the most competitive cover. We are ideally placed to quickly research the market to find the best cover at the right price and to give a personalised service when dealing with claims.

"We have direct access to assessors on the Island which means that we can provide a fast response when clients need it most."
