Local corporate service provider SMP Partners Limited were the sponsors for this year's Hospice Isle of Man’s dinner, which recently took place at the Empress Hotel.
President Brian Partington OBE and Chairman of Hospice John Quinn joined staff and governors of Hospice, and a wide variety of guests, for what was a sell-out occasion.
The evening was a great success with some fabulous auction and raffle prizes donated by local companies.
Chief Executive of Hospice Margaret Simpson said, "It was truly a magical evening and I would like to thank everyone involved in making the night such a great success.
"There was a lot of fun banter between our guest speaker, Graham Davies, and our compere for the evening, Hospice stalwart supporter Geoff Corkish MBE, MHK.
"It was lovely to see so many patrons of Hospice attending our annual event and continuing their much needed and appreciated support.
"In addition, I would particularly like to thank our main corporate sponsor for the evening, SMP Partners, along with everyone else who kindly donated auction or raffle prizes.
"Their continual support of our charity is very much appreciated. We are deeply grateful."
Chairman of SMP Partners Steve McGowan added, "We are delighted to be working with a truly local charity whose work on the Island touches so many families.
"In fact we are continuing our support for Hospice Isle of Man well into 2010 by being involved in the Manx Operatic Society’s Hot Mikado performance in March next year.
"As a company, we are proud to be involved in this type of community partnership."
