Royal London 360° has added nine new funds to its international regular premium product, Paragon, giving clients new investment options.
The additions follow a recent fund review by the offshore life company, and originate from respected fund houses such as Henderson, Threadneedle and Ashburton.
The range is further enhanced by the addition of two much-requested funds from JPMorgan: the ‘Highbridge Statistical Market Neutral Fund’ to the hedge fund range and ‘The Global Consumer Trends Fund’ to the Commodities fund range.
The changing world is the inspiration for the Global Consumer Trends Fund. As human behaviour alters, populations age and workforces migrate, new buying patterns emerge. This fund aims to tap into these long-term patterns as people change what they buy and how they live. The Fund Manager benefits from the freedom to explore all trends, regardless of size, sector or location.
The Highbridge Statistical Market Neutral Fund aims to provide positive, above-cash returns, unrelated to the direction of the market.
The fund uses derivatives for exposure to returns from the markets, whilst physically investing in cash and cash equivalents.
This approach allows market risk to be minimised, so that returns are gained simply from stock selection.
