Warning to insurers from Channel Island

Manx insurers are being told they will have to adapt their policies, following confirmation the Reciprocal Health Agreement between the Isle of Man and the United Kingdom is to end on March 31.

The Channel Islands found themselves in the same position last June, and the managing director of an insurance company in Jersey told Manx Radio the industry could be slow to react to change.

Peter Hayman's firm, PJ Hayman Travel Insurance, teamed up with the Jersey government to provide a policy for visitors to the Channel Island:
