Company offers health insurance solutions

by isleofman.com 22nd January 2010

A local insurance company is confident two new products will cover the full needs of people travelling to and from the Isle of Man, once the Reciprocal Health Agreement ends on March 31.

Offshore Travel Insurance Limited is offering 'Medical Health Plus', a medical expenses and repatriation policy, and 'Manx Plus' which is a full travel insurance product.

'Medical Health Plus' offers full medical cover in the United Kingdom, and the company's chief executive officer Brian Kelly says it caters for a large proportion of the population, in two age categories:

People over the age of 89 can take out insurance using the 'Manx Plus' policy which, like 'Medical Health Plus', is similar to a product which has been available in the Channel Islands since their Reciprocal Health Agreements ended, last summer.

The policies work exactly the same for people travelling to the Isle of Man from the United Kingdom.
