Personal Finance Society to Hold First Island Meeting

by isleofman.com 26th January 2010

In what has been called a 'major coup', the first regional meeting of the Personal Finance Society will take place at the Clarement Hotel on 10th February 2010.

The PFS' Head of Operations, Martin Wells, describes the event as an opportunity to "allow our members to receive the benefits of a regional style meeting without the need to travel across to the Haydock meetings.

"As this is a trial, we would love to see a great turnout and we do hope that people make every effort to attend."

Key to the organisation of the meeting is Sharon Sutton, Managing Director of Thornton Associates, who is the Island's regional PFS representative.

Sharon (pictured) explains, "All sessions will be made as relevant as possible to those advising in the Isle of Man.  In addition to essential technical knowledge, regular business development sessions will play a part in each event."

The first Isle of Man PFS regional meeting will be free to PFS and CII members, and also to non-members on this occasion (the fee is usually ?58.75 for non-members).  For more information or to reserve a place, email ann.zachorecki@uk.rsagroup.com or call 645928.
