The Isle of Man will play host to a major finance sector conference on Tuesday 9th February.
Collins Stewart Wealth Management has secured three leading market experts to speak at their 2010 Investment Conference.
Strategist Robert Jukes will focus on the global economic outlook by discussing the macroeconomic backdrop and the markets’ prospects for 2010. It is his assertion that equity markets will continue to remain attractive.
"With interest rates at a historic low and likely to remain that way for some time, many clients are increasingly seeking opportunities for income," said Investment Director Richard Stanley, who will look at opportunities for generating income before discussing the interest rate outlook and the implications for those looking to generate maximum income from their investments.
Responsible for setting asset allocation policy group-wide, Chief Investment Officer Nigel Cuming is best-placed to discuss asset allocation and where to invest in 2010. He will set out the implications of the financial markets outlook for portfolio construction and explain how investors should be structuring their portfolios for the next year.
Collins Stewart Head of Wealth Management in the Isle of Man, Dermot Hamill, said: “We believe that one of the key differentiators is the quality of our global and highly rated research function."
"This years conference will discuss the outlook for global economies and interest rates and offer clients and their advisors guidance on where to invest their assets over the coming year. This is particularly important in light of the gains seen in the last year and the rather uncertain outlook," said Dermot.
The Collins Stewart Investment Conference will take place on Tuesday 9th February from 10am to 12noon at the Villa Marina, Douglas.
