New FSC regulations out for consultation

by isleofman.com 5th February 2010

The Financial Supervision Commission has unveiled plans to allow companies whose shares are traded on a market to hold up to 10 per cent of their shares in the Treasury.

The Draft Companies Act Treasury Share Regulations are designed to increase flexibility for companies when managing their share capital.

The FSC says it’s now consulting on the draft legislation which is needed to introduce treasury shares.

The Consultation Document can be found on the FSC’s website at fsc.gov.im and you have until February 19 to put your views forward.
