Manx Telecom has announced the appointment of Rob Lord to its front line hosting technical team at the Company’s fast-expanding Douglas North Data Centre.
Rob, 23, has gained prior IT experience as Technical Coordinator with a leading Island-based IT solutions provider.
The purpose-built Douglas North Data Centre, which is now primed to take on additional capacity, runs Manx Telecom’s state-of-the-art core network and enterprising hosting operation.
Completed in 2005 at a cost of over ?10 million, the Centre hosts some of the largest international eGaming companies, online bookmakers, global payment processors, international e-money providers and major banks.
Stephen Trimble, Manx Telecom’s Enterprise Hosting and Solutions Manager said Rob’s appointment and expansion of the technical team was a clear indication of the growing demand for the Company’s hosting services on the Isle of Man.
