PR & Web Service Starts at Home

by isleofman.com 10th February 2010

Home Strategic, one of the Isle of Man’s leading marketing agencies, has launched a dedicated PR and Web division which sees the appointment of three new high-profile directors.

The division will be known as Home PR & Web, with former regional and national newspaper journalist Les Able, who has worked in financial PR for 10 years, heading up media and consumer relations.

James Qualtrough, who joins from Bradford & Bingley International in Douglas where he was assistant marketing manager, will focus on the growing demand for new media relations.

Bob Jones, who ran his own Peel-based web design business Satsu Ltd with major clients from both on and off the Island, becomes director of new media design.

"Having developed a reputation built on innovative and general trend bucking, our main challenge in setting up this new division was how to do it differently and not just follow the crowd," said Steve Wicks, joint Managing Director of Home Strategic.

He added, "The first answer was to find a team of people who also liked to question conventional thought and try different ideas.

"Les, James and Bob bring together not only a wealth of experience but an exciting balance of new and traditional online and offline media expertise that meet head-on the challenges of the 21st century, ensuring we deliver balanced strategies that deliver real results for clients."
