'Governance in the 2010s - Internationally Recycled or New?' will be the question posed at a forthcoming presentation hosted by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) Isle of Man.
The talk, which takes place on Thursday 18th February at the Hilton Hotel, will be given by Lillian Boyle, a non-executive director of Caledonian Trust (IOM) Limited.
Lillian has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector, originally as an in-house lawyer specialising in trust and estate planning. She is a Fellow of both the Securities & Investment Institute and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), of which she is a former UK President, and is currently Chair of their Audit Committee.
From 2003 -2008 she was Managing Director of Scottish Provident International, a key player in the offshore life assurance market, and has held a number of directorships in international locations. She has been a regular contributor to both Isle of Man and international Finance Sector review bodies over a number of years.
In Spring 2009, she was appointed to the Professional Oversight Board of the UK Financial Reporting Council.
