Augmented Reality comes to the Island

by isleofman.com 13th February 2010

What's billed as the latest in 3D digital technology - Augmented Reality - will be unveiled in the Sure store in Douglas today.

Augmented Reality superimposes graphics and data onto real-world images, usually through the screen of a computer, mobile or hand-held device.

Both video games and mobile phones are driving the development of it.

There's a chance to try out Augmented Reality in the Sure shop in Strand Street between 11am and 3pm.
