Fun88 deal with Burnley

by isleofman.com 23rd February 2010

A Manx e-gaming company has tightened the Island’s hold on the UK’s Premier League – after it signed up a top club in a lucrative sponsorship deal.

Asian group Fun88, which operates from the Isle of Man, has penned a deal with Burnley FC to have its name on player’s shirts for the next two years.

A spokesman for Fun88 said the sponsorship would help the company in Asian and European markets and a number of marketing initiatives in the near future will strengthen Fun88's association with the club.

Fun88 joins fellow Manx egaming company 188Bet – which has signed shirt sponsorship deals with Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

And on top of that, 188bet has also signed deals with Liverpool and Chelsea FC, as well as Aston Villa, although not for shirt sponsorship.
