by isleofman.com 3rd March 2010

Dean Waddingham, Managing Director of CMI, has been elected a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

Mr Waddingham was the Isle of Man’s first Chartered Director and the UK’s 100th.  He was awarded a distinction in the IoD’s diploma in company direction and as such was active in supporting the Isle of Man International Business School in its original promotion of the introduction of the qualification locally.

Mr Waddingham has been a company director since 1997 and currently holds a number of directorships; most with the CMI group of companies, as well as directorships in Jersey and Europe.

The Institute of Directors is Europe's largest membership organisation for business leaders.  Members are invited to apply to become Fellows of the IoD based on their experience and contribution to business.
